Crossrate has no user accounts and no backend that stores personal data. This page explains exactly what happens to information when you use the website or the application.
There is no sign-up, no login and no user database. We set no advertising cookies, run no third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and do not sell or share personal information — because we do not hold any. The only outside request the product makes is for the published rate table itself, and that request says nothing about you.
The support form on the website is handled entirely in the browser and is not submitted to a server. To reach us, use the email address in section 8.
The application writes to your browser's local storage under the crossrate: prefix:
None of this is transmitted to us and none of it is readable by us. You can delete all of it at any time from More → Clear local data, or by clearing site data in your browser.
If you install Crossrate as an application, your browser also caches the interface files so it opens without a connection. That cache contains no personal data and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear site data.
To show current figures, your browser requests the daily table of European Central Bank reference rates from a public endpoint. That request contains no information about you — it asks only for the rate table and, for a chart, a date range and two currency codes. It is made directly from your device and is not proxied through us, so the endpoint operator will see your IP address and standard request headers as it would for any web request. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours.
Your hosting provider or CDN may keep standard server logs — IP address, timestamp, requested path, user agent — for security and operational purposes. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
When you email support@capital-management.app, we receive whatever you include in that message — typically your email address and the content of your question. We use it only to answer you, retain it for as long as needed to resolve the matter and for a reasonable record-keeping period afterwards, and do not use it for marketing.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In practice the only personal data we could hold is support correspondence you sent us. Email us and we will action such a request within the timeframe required by applicable law.
This service concerns foreign exchange markets and is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, contains no user-generated content and no communication features. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this page if the product changes in a way that affects privacy, and the revision date at the top will reflect that. Material changes will be summarised here rather than made silently.
