Foreign exchange reference data

The official rate, without the noise.

Crossrate shows the euro foreign exchange reference rates published by the European Central Bank, and derives the cross rate between any two of thirty currencies from the same table. One source, one number, no interpretation.

What it does, and what it deliberately does not

Crossrate is a reading instrument. It publishes numbers that somebody else set, and adds only the arithmetic needed to look at them from any angle.

Thirty currencies

Every currency in the ECB daily publication, from the majors to the Icelandic krona, with the full name and daily change.

Any cross rate

Both legs come from the same euro-based table, so a cross like NOK/THB is exact and never drifts between screens.

History that means something

Charts over 30 days to a year, drawn from the actual daily publications rather than a smoothed feed.

Converter on every pair

Type an amount either side and see the counter value at the published rate, with no spread invented on top.

Works with no connection

Install it and the last publication stays available offline, clearly marked as cached rather than current.

Nothing to sign up for

No account, no email, no advertising identifier. Your watchlist lives in your own browser and nowhere else.

Inside the app

Five screens, a bottom bar and nothing else. No onboarding, no upsell, no notification asking to be enabled.

About Crossrate

Crossrate is published by Capital Management. It presents the euro foreign exchange reference rates of the European Central Bank and the cross rates that follow from them, so that anyone comparing currencies is looking at the same official figure rather than a broker's quote.

It is not a broker and not a trading platform. There is no order routing, no account linking, no customer money and no advice. The only outside request the app makes is for the daily rate table itself.

Reference rates, not tradable prices. ECB reference rates are published once each business day at around 16:00 CET and are intended for information and statistics. They are not quotes at which any transaction can be executed.

Single sourceOne EUR-based table drives every screen, so no two figures can disagree.
